Planting With Mom

Our traditional, day-before-Mother’s-Day, planting event is back! Shop the many aisles of beautiful annual flowers & vegetable plants in our Greenhouse. Once purchased, take your plants to the back room of the Greenhouse to plant with our Janoski’s Special Soil Mix using your pots from home.

Annual Car Cruise

Sunday | September 3rd | 10am-4pm

Car, Truck, & Tractor Cruise

Come spend the day at our Farm on the Sunday before Labor Day. Bring the whole family to enjoy classic cars, high-performance tractors and farm trucks.

We will have plenty of food trucks, a corn roast, music, craft beer & wine from our resident winery (Arrowhead).

Bring your own chair, seating is limited.

For parking, please go to the back left of the farm market parking lot, and someone will be there to guide you.

Pumpkinland

Saturdays & Sundays Only | Sept. 30th – Oct. 29th | 10am-5pm

$10 per person (Children 2 & under are free)

Bring the whole family and celebrate the fall season with our annual Pumpkinland located behind the Farm Market. Take a walk to the pumpkin patch, enjoy a scenic hayride (optional), corn maze, straw maze,  pony rides (children only), petting zoo & much more! Feel free to pack a lunch or visit the food vendors we have available.

For parking, please go to the back left of the farm market parking lot, and someone will be there to guide you.

Shredded Cabbage Days

Shredded Cabbage Cost: $1 per LB

On both of the days listed above, us at Janoski’s will be shredding our own homegrown cabbage for sauerkraut. We will be shredding cabbage for $1.00/lb and salt will be sold separatley. 25lbs of shredded cabbage makes approximately 3 gallons of sauerkraut. Bushels of kraut cabbage are also available for $20 (approximately 50lbs).

In our farm market, you will find stoneware crocks, weights, and lids to purchase for your sauerkraut making needs!

To order your shredded cabbage for either date, please call the farm market at 724-899-3438 ext 2.

We will NOT be hosting our annual Sauerkraut Making Seminar this year (2022). In place of the seminar, we are offering two days for you to pick-up our own homegrown, fresh, shredded cabbage.
