Our Story

Family Owned & Operated Since 1958

It all began at our little farm in Mt. Lebanon, PA and later moved to our current slice of paradise of Clinton, PA in 1962 when Sonny and JoAnn Janoski were married. In January 2000, the farm became incorporated as Janoski Farms Inc.

In 2015, Sonny & Mike began Farmland Preservation of 100 acres of the farm that sits in Allegheny County. This program permanently preserves the land so that it is to never become developed for housing or building complexes. It is accepted at all levels of government & non-profit organizations with a common goal of preserving farm lands. This means a guaranteed local, farm-fresh food supply for generations to come. The grant money received from this program has allowed us to expand our farm market, giving the community more local options to shop from.

Our main farm consists of approximately 200 acres, with additional surrounding properties & an orchard a few miles down the road. We specialize in homegrown produce throughout the seasons along with all of your gardening needs. Presently we have thirty-five greenhouses that allows us to grow our fields in succession for a continuous rotation of produce within our market.

Our retail spaces also include the Farm Market, Bakery, Gift Shop, Farm Fresh Kitchen, Greenhouse, & Garden Center. Additionally, throughout the summer and fall months, we have our annual events such as the Wine Festival with Farm to Fork Buffet, Pick-Your-Own, and the renowned family-friendly Pumpkinland.

Our family truly hopes you enjoy your visit with us at Janoski’s Farm & we thank you for shopping local. We hope to see you again soon!

In Loving Memory Of Francis D. (Sonny) & Daniel Janoski

Francis D. (Sonny) Janoski

March 23, 1937 – June 6, 2015

Sonny was the lifelong owner and operator of Janoski’s Farm & Greenhouse, and the husband to JoAnn for 52 years with a large, loving family (see below). He was born in Mt. Lebanon and was the youngest son of 5 from Michael & Anna Janoski.

The 70 acre farm in Clinton was purchased in 1959, with many more additions thereafter which has helped create what it is today. Sonny was a hard worker with a passion for farming, a big supporter of the community, and enjoyed collecting antique tractors and farm equipment. He will sadly be missed by all of his family, friends, neighbors & loyal customers.

Daniel F. Janoski

November 20, 1964 – April 12, 2011

Dan Janoski was the son of Sonny and JoAnn Janoski, and the brother of Debora Seibel, Mike Janoski and Diane Swimkosky. Dan was the father of 5 children, Rachel, Michelle, Heather, Daniel and Jennifer Janoski. Sadly Dan passed away suddenly on April 12, 2011 after years of battling diabetes and high blood pressure.

Daniel worked his entire life here on our farm, and was an extremely hard worker where often times you could find him seeding vegetable plants or packing fresh-picked produce from the fields. He was loved by all who knew him and will be sadly missed by all of his family, friends, neighbors and loyal customers.

Our Family

Family has become an integral part of life here at the farm. It all started with Sonny & JoAnn meeting at market and the rest was history. Together they have four children, thirteen grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren as of 2023. Currently 10 family members, along with 30+ seasonal employees help keep the farm running smoothly all year long.

Growing With You

Officially open as of 2018 and thanks to state-distributed grant funds, we have been able to expand our Farm Market and allow for our growing customer-base. Not only is there more room to shop, but we are now able to offer a larger variety of products throughout the entire year.

If there are any local products you would like to see us carry in our market, send us suggestions and we will consider!
